On Saturday, August 2nd, the Lagos branch of the Movement for a Socialist Alternative (MSA) conducted a tabling exercise at the well-known Boundary Roundabout in Ajegunle, a bustling working-class district. This location, known for its high foot traffic and vibrant street activity, provided an ideal setting for grassroots engagement with the working masses.

Compared to previous tabling efforts, this particular outing stood out for its high level of participation and interaction. The tabling session lasted for over an hour, as numerous workers and young people eagerly stopped to engage in political discussions. These conversations focused primarily on the worsening socio-economic conditions in the country and the urgent need for collective action by the working class.

One of the key observations from the activity was the growing discontent with the ruling APC government. Many individuals we spoke with expressed deep frustration and anger over the rising levels of hunger and poverty. Even those who supported the president complain bitterly on the economic situation.
